About Villa Sisjödal

Villa Sisjödal in Sisjön is a residence with 90 places, focusing on somatic and cognitive impairments. Villa Sisjödal is centrally located in Sisjön near restaurants and shops. You will work with a physiotherapist on-site but have several rehab colleagues at our four other facilities in Gothenburg with whom you will collaborate closely.

About the role

You will work in a team together with physiotherapists, nurses, and care staff, and your task is to provide quality of life. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs.

In the role of occupational therapist, you will find together with the residents the best ways to use their own abilities in everyday life. You will support and motivate individuals to develop and maintain their physical, cognitive, and social abilities. This often involves:

• making assessments and adapting the daily environment.

• trial and prescription of physical and cognitive aids.

• providing guidance to your colleagues in rehabilitative efforts, approaches, transfer techniques, etc.

• maintaining contact with the residents' relatives.

Your experience and knowledge

We believe that you who are applying to us:

You are a licensed occupational therapist, and we would like you to have several years of experience in elderly care. You have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing is required.
