Security Coordinator

About the position
As a security coordinator, you will work together with others to coordinate and develop our security work. You will work both strategically and operationally with issues that include:
- Security protection
- Physical security and safety in our properties
- Risk and vulnerability analyses (RSA)
- Threat, risk, and security assessments
- Personal safety, threats, and violence
- Handling and investigating incidents
- Security planning for visits, various types of events, etc.
- Development of routines, instructions, and action plans within the security area.
- Continuity planning
- Collaboration with external actors such as police and rescue services.
- Training in security issues.
The strategic work involves creating, implementing, and following up on governing documents, routines, policies, and guidelines within security and safety. The role has a clear holistic perspective and aims to ensure that governance is understandable, usable, and anchored in the organization.
In the role, you will support management and managers in security-related issues, where your ability to analyze needs, see connections, and translate strategy into practical implementation is central. Through a pedagogical approach, you contribute to creating engagement and understanding, thereby ensuring a safe and secure environment. You work closely with both operations and relevant parties, including contracted security companies.
You act as an expert and handle interest assessments and impact assessments according to the Camera Surveillance Act related to GDPR. You also act as an expert regarding the applicable NIS 2 and CER directives focusing on physical security and personal safety.
The position is classified in a security class and requires a successful security clearance.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Relevant university degree or post-secondary education in security and preparedness that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Several years of experience in security work in a similar role
- Good knowledge of legislation in the security area
- Good skills and can express yourself well in the Swedish language both orally and in writing
Meritorious:
- Experience in assessing physical protection and the need for security measures and requirements for security measures in projects, procurements, and similar
- Experience in leading projects and/or coordinating workgroups
- Previous work with internal security work within public operations
- A high digital maturity and understanding of the technical development of security issues
- Experience in working with security protection
- Experience in working with personal safety as well as threats and violence.
