Björkgården, Forenede Care has been providing elderly care on behalf of Solna Municipality since 2010.

We are now looking for another nurse who wants to join our friendly work group. At Björkgården, we contribute to each other's work environment by recognizing everyone's differences and strengths.

Björkgården is a special accommodation focused on somatic care and dementia, divided into four floors with 51 apartments. Björkgården is centrally located in Råsunda with proximity to the subway, bus, and commuter train.

There are a total of 4 nurses working day/evening shifts. We also have a nurse on duty at night.

Job Description

Standard tasks assigned to nurses.

You will work on a schedule, every third weekend. Working hours can always be discussed.

As an OAS, you will work in a team of nurses but also together with other staff at Björkgården. You will be responsible for medical assessments and treatments and have a special responsibility for one floor. You will also have regular contact and follow-up with relatives. We collaborate with the medical organization Familjeläkarna.

You should be able to work independently with standard nursing tasks, as well as collaborate daily with your colleagues and together develop the operations' HSL routines. To support this, there is an assistant manager who is a licensed nurse.

You will independently assess and perform medical treatment and nursing interventions, as well as follow up and document in our journal system according to applicable legislation. You will be responsible for planned and urgent interventions for residents. You will participate in nursing work in a quality assurance and guiding capacity based on HSL. You will also have close cooperation with physiotherapists and occupational therapists who are part of the HSL team at Björkgården.

Requirements

• Swedish license as a nurse with experience in the elderly care target group.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

Meritorious

We would prefer that you have previous experience in elderly care.

Scope

Permanent employment, approximately 80%. We apply a probationary period. You will work daytime, evening, and every third weekend.
