Humana's outpatient care in Luleå is looking for a family therapist with a therapeutic focus

Do you want to work towards creating positive changes in people's lives and be part of an engaged and growing organization? We are now looking for a Family Therapist with a therapeutic focus for our outpatient care in Luleå.

As a family therapist with us, you will have the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, and their families for therapeutic purposes. You will be an important part of our team and help strengthen and develop our operations in Region North, where we provide modern, evidence-based outpatient care.

About us:

Humana is one of Sweden's leading players in qualified outpatient care, offering flexible interventions for both children and adults. We conduct our interventions in the client's home, in emergency or family homes, group homes, and supported housing. Our operations value continuous method development, and we offer training and supervision in methods such as IHF (Intensive Home-Based Family Treatment), Connect, and TFCO (Treatment Foster Care Oregon). Read more about our operations here.

We are a sought-after complement to municipalities' own resources and offer qualified interventions tailored to the client's needs. Our methods are research-based and evaluated, and we always strive to maintain the highest standards in our work.

About the position:

Our outpatient care in Region North is growing, and we are now looking for a therapist to join our team in Luleå. In this role, you will work with children and adolescents as well as their families and help establish the Luleå unit's outpatient care. The unit's catalog of interventions includes methods such as IHF, Care Assessment, Connect, and Marte Meo, and you will receive relevant training to work according to our methods.

The work involves both digital meetings and travel within our catchment area, which requires flexibility and planning. A large part of the work is carried out in the clients' homes, allowing you to make a real difference in their lives. You will work in an engaged and competent team, where we have fun at work and constantly develop together.

We are looking for someone who wants to:

  • Work systematically with children and adolescents and their families to create sustainable changes.
  • Use evidence-based methods and standardized tools for assessment and documentation.
  • Work with complex cases and contribute to developing and improving the quality of social work.

Who are you?

We believe you will thrive in this role if you find it easy to create and maintain good relationships and have a genuine commitment to helping others. You are curious, systemically oriented, and able to work both independently and in a team. You are also good at expressing yourself in writing and enjoy working with challenging cases where you and your team find solutions and strategies together.

The work involves some evening and weekend work, and part of the work takes place in other locations, which entails travel and sometimes overnight stays. The position includes phone standby approximately every seventh week, where you provide support and guidance to families by phone as needed. Flexibility and good availability are therefore important qualities for success in the role.

Qualifications:

  • Social worker, psychologist, or other education deemed equivalent, with at least Level 1 training in family therapy and/or CBT/PDT.
  • Experience in psychosocial treatment work.

Meritorious:

  • Training in Marte Meo, MIM/Theraplay, IHF, TFCO, MST, FFT, A-CRA, HAP, or similar.
  • Knowledge of trauma
  • Experience from a similar role
  • Experience working with young children and interaction methods.
  • Experience in investigation and assessment work.

We offer:

A developing career opportunity with significant influence over your own work and the chance to grow within the company.

  • Internal and external training as well as supervision.
  • A work environment where joy, responsibility, and engagement are central values.
  • Benefits such as wellness grants, flexible working hours, and the possibility of a company car.

Duration/Working hours:

Permanent employment, full-time.

A 6-month probationary period applies.
