The Project Management unit for strategic projects currently consists of 25 people working on large hospital projects in Malmö, Lund, Helsingborg, and Hässleholm. The unit consists of several different competencies such as construction project managers, installation project managers, and project coordinators and schedulers.

Regionfastigheter develops and manages Region Skåne's properties. Right now, we are making the largest investments ever in the hospital areas in Skåne. Regionfastigheter project manages, builds, and develops large complex projects in sensitive hospital environments. We manage properties and advanced technical systems and must be able to guarantee high operational reliability every day of the year. Our work is a prerequisite for safe and secure care. We are also expanding the infrastructure for public transport in Skåne, with new service depots for buses, trams, and trains.

The area of operation (VO) for strategic projects is responsible for building the really large projects, hospital areas, and facilities for public transport. We are looking for a project manager to work on the Future Orthopedics project in Hässleholm (Forth).

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a project manager for installation/construction, you will be responsible for the equipment to be installed in Forth.

As a project manager, you will work in the client organization in close collaboration with colleagues, consultants, and contractors. You will be involved in the project from contract, design to production and commissioning. Coordination is an important part. In Forth, you are responsible for ensuring that applicable decisions regarding time, quality, and cost are followed. You initiate, drive, and structure your own tasks and take ownership of the project's progress.

There may be travel involved in the job within large parts of Skåne. The location for this project is Hässleholm.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in installation and/or construction or other education that the employer deems equivalent, or that you have equivalent competence acquired through several years of work experience. We see that you have several years of work experience in your field. Furthermore, you have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing, as well as good computer skills.

If you have experience and/or knowledge of any of the following, it is advantageous:

• experience with technical installations in hospital projects
• experience in design management and production management
• experience as a contractor, consultant, or client in the construction and real estate industry
• experience in the public sector and familiarity with client organizations.

A driver's license (B) is also an advantage as travel within Skåne is required.

You are a person who is secure, stable, and has good self-awareness. You should enjoy working in a team where many different competencies come together and drive the project forward together. To succeed in the job, you need to be communicative and relationship-building both within and outside your own organization. Furthermore, you are self-driven and structured, which means you plan your work in advance, organize and prioritize activities effectively, and set and adhere to timelines.
