The Assignment

The Social Administration in Gällivare municipality is seeking, via Sanandum, three licensed nurses for the role of nursing responsible nurses within the municipality's home healthcare during the summer of 2026.

The home healthcare consists of a team of nine nurses and one nursing assistant. As a nurse, you will work as the nursing responsible within a geographical area and in close collaboration with other professional categories, always with the individual's needs at the center.

Your Responsibilities

• Nursing responsibility for patients within municipal home healthcare
• 
  
• Medical assessments, treatments, and follow-ups according to prescriptions
• 
  
• Collaboration with other professions based on the patient's needs
• 
  
• Weekend duties where all areas are covered in collaboration with nurses in special housing
• 
  
• Delegation to home care staff, including training and practical walkthrough during longer assignments
• 
  
• Documentation according to current routines

The catchment area is geographically large and driving is included in the work.

Working Hours

• Daytime Monday–Friday
• 
  
• Working hours: approx. 35–40 hours/week
• 
  
• Times: 07:00–15:30 or 10:00–18:00 (30 min break)
• 
  
• Some weekend duties included

Qualifications

• Licensed nurse
• 
  
• Experience in municipal home healthcare is an advantage
• 
  
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your area
• 
  
• Good collaboration skills and confident in your professional role
• 
  
• Driver's license is a requirement
