You will be part of a team with nursing staff, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. An important role for you is to guide the care staff so that together you provide each resident with the best possible life. Based on national quality registers, you will conduct risk assessments and follow-ups to ensure very high quality in the operations. The work involves both urgent and planned interventions.

We offer a varied and developing position with varied placement where you will work at least 50% at Johannesgården. The remaining part of the position involves work at other elderly care units within the Stiftelsen Stora Sköndal, based on the needs of the operations. This gives you the opportunity to work in different environments and contribute where the need is greatest.

In this role, you will have the chance to broaden your experience, develop your skills, and collaborate with engaged colleagues across several operations.

You are responsible for ensuring that the resident receives good and safe care and treatment. You work towards a good relationship with the resident, relatives, and other care providers, and collaborate with the responsible physician. Your responsibilities include establishing individual health plans and ensuring that they are kept alive in daily work. Additionally, you are active in participating in meeting forums according to the unit's planning and contribute to the development of the unit's work. Other typical tasks for a nurse in elderly care are also included.

As a nurse with us, you need to be meticulous and organized in your work. You can work independently and have good problem-solving skills. In your role, you will have many different contacts, and the position therefore requires good collaboration skills and that you feel comfortable guiding care staff in health and medical interventions. You act from a professional standpoint with a high sense of service for the resident's and the operation's best interests. You also have the engagement and desire to drive elderly care with the best quality.

Work during daytime, Mon-Fri (including public holidays and red days that fall on Mon-Fri) with weekends off.

The position is a permanent employment with a probationary period and start date according to agreement.

A criminal record extract must be presented before employment.

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with experience/further education in elderly care/geriatrics/open health and medical care. A specialist education in elderly care and experience with the Epsilon journal system is advantageous. You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, computer skills, and a good habit of documenting.
