We are looking for a licensed nurse, initially placed at the special housing Rörestorpsgården.

Job Responsibilities

Your work will involve being responsible for health and medical care interventions in the municipal healthcare system. You will be responsible for both planned and acute health and medical care interventions for both younger and older patients.

As a nurse, you will independently make medical assessments, treatments, and actions. Since patients' care needs vary, the tasks will range from common interventions such as medication management, sampling, and wound care to more advanced interventions like dialysis, infusions, and management of tracheostomy, CVK/venous ports, and drainage. Specialist competence is available in areas such as palliative advanced care, wound care nursing, and psychiatric coordination. We also have access to a methodology where some training is conducted, allowing you to renew your knowledge.

Alongside colleagues, you will work in a team to ensure the best quality for those we serve. You need to be able to work independently and make your own decisions. Being attentive and empathetic is a given for you, as is having a holistic view in your work with people. Your work will mostly be during the day, but some evening and weekend shifts are included.

Qualifications

As a nurse in Värnamo Municipality, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are calm and secure and have the ability to create a positive climate. You are attentive and empathetic and have an easy time collaborating both internally and externally. You are good at planning and organizing and prioritize your work independently in an efficient manner. Patient participation and collaboration with relatives are a given for you. Creating a good working environment built on a strong team spirit is important to us. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We Offer

When you start your position as a nurse with us, you will receive a designated supervisor. The introduction period is individual and tailored to your experiences and prior knowledge. You will also have an experienced mentor to whom you can always direct your questions.

A B driver's license valid for manual transmission is a requirement.
