The Social Services Department is now looking for a personal assistant to work with a wheelchair-bound man in his 65s. The position is a temporary contract for about 1 year. The position is approximately 85–87%, with the possibility to work more during certain schedule periods.

The workplace is located in Boden.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The user needs support and assistance to manage daily life. The work includes assisting him with his needs for support and help during everyday life and leisure, such as personal care, transfers, training, leisure activities, and more. The user is fully competent but physically disabled. The working hours are scheduled - day, evening, weekend, and awake night shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a person who has well-developed empathy, a good understanding and respect for the difficulties and opportunities of the disabled, as well as respect for the individual's integrity and self-determination. It is an advantage if you have studied the Nursing Program, Child and Leisure, or have training as a personal assistant and/or experience in the profession.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license and car are advantageous as the workplace is located outside central Boden.
