Job Responsibilities

You will start from the positives that exist in the person and their surroundings and provide pedagogical support in everyday life. You will work to practically guide and support users to create conditions for an active and independent life tailored to their individual needs and abilities. Together with the users, you will carry out activities related to daily life. Thus, you will work with cooking, cleaning, laundry, and outdoor activities. You will also accompany users on leisure activities according to their wishes. Implementation plans are used as an active working method and are developed based on the user's wishes and needs and evaluated continuously. You should be able to work independently and recognize the importance of documentation, follow-up, and evaluation to achieve the goals of the operation. The work includes contact and collaboration with representatives, relatives, daily activities, and more. You will function as a support person and help shape a clear structure and participate in supervision, workplace meetings/team meetings, and network meetings.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who meets each individual with warmth and respect, sees their strengths, and supports them in making their own decisions. You motivate and guide in a safe manner and have a genuine joy in working with people. As a trained support assistant, you have a strong advantage in this recruitment. If you also have experience working with the target group or have an educational background, for example from school or preschool, that is a plus. Knowledge of low-arousal approaches and sign language support is also something we would like you to bring, but the most important thing is your willingness to learn and develop together with us. To be considered for the position, you need to:

Good digital competence
Approved grades in Swedish equivalent to at least grade 9

As a person, you are relationship-building, collaborative, and stable. You also have a drive and a desire to develop both yourself and the organization forward. Your personal competencies mean a lot to us in this recruitment; we are looking for the right person just as much as the right experience. The residence has some bus connections, but since they are limited, it is an advantage if you can get to work without being completely dependent on public transport. Start date is by agreement.
