We are looking for an experienced social worker
We are looking for an experienced social worker for a temporary position as an investigative social secretary within children and family services. The role includes investigating the needs of children and families for support.
The Department of Individual and Family Care in Härjedalen is a department with both authority and open care and consists of four units. As a social secretary within children and family, you will be part of a unit that, in addition to children and family, also works with harmful use and dependency, domestic violence, and family law.
The group working with children and young people consists of eight people with divided tasks within investigation and execution. The group also includes case management in family law, which is currently handled by one caseworker, but we would like to see someone else in the group take on this work. The unit has engaged and skilled employees who support each other in daily work.
Job Responsibilities
As an investigative social secretary within children and family, we work to investigate children's needs for protection and support based on the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Special Provisions for the Care of Young People (LVU). Our focus is to conduct good social work. For us, this means creating investigation processes that are beneficial for the families' change work. When there is a need for interventions, support and treatment are offered, as far as possible, at home, and we emphasize network work.
The work involves conversations and collaboration with both internal and external parties, and a large part of the work includes documentation based on BBIC in our operational system VIVA. The work is governed by applicable legislation and regulations in the area. You will also be involved in the quality and development work of the operations.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Degree in social work.
- Experience in authority exercise under the Social Services Act.
- Driver's license B
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and a habit of using a computer as a working tool since a large part of the work involves documentation.
Meritorious:
- Training in BBIC and Signs of Safety, experience with the operational system VIVA, speaks more languages than Swedish and English.

- You are attentive, and in stressful situations, it is important that you can maintain a professional demeanor and attitude.
- You have a good ability to make quick priorities when the need arises.
- You are structured and enjoy seeking information to find answers to various questions.
