The Assignment

Flens municipality is in need of licensed nurses for the summer of 2026 for its nursing organization, which consists of nurses and district nurses organized in geographical areas.

The unit is responsible for health and medical care services to patients aged 18 and over within:

• Special housing
• 
  
• Ordinary housing enrolled in home care
• 
  
• Short-term housing
• 
  
• Group homes according to LSS

The assignments require security in the professional role, good collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently in municipal operations.

Assignment A – Special housing, short-term housing & disability area

Number: 2 nurses

Extent: Full-time, 38.25 hours/week

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend

Placement: Pool/area within special housing, short-term housing, and the disability area

Job Responsibilities

• Qualified health and medical care services to patients within special housing, short-term housing, and the disability area
• 
  
• Standard nursing tasks within municipal care
• 
  
• Supervision and guidance of nursing staff
• 
  
• Documentation according to current routines

Qualifications – Assignment A

• Licensed nurse
• 
  
• At least 2 years of experience in municipal operations
• 
  
• Experience in special housing, short-term housing, and the disability area is an advantage
• 
  
• Secure in the professional role and accustomed to taking responsibility
• 
  
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• 
  
• Good collaboration skills, flexibility, and self-drive
• 
  
• Experience in a supervisory role and guidance
• 
  
• Experience with the journal system Combine is an advantage
• 
  
• B driver's license is a requirement
• 
  
• Must be able to work throughout the entire contract period
• 
  
• Assigned schedule applies and follows the working time act

Assignment B – Home care (ordinary housing)

Number: 3 nurses

Extent: Full-time, 38.25 hours/week

Working hours: Day, evening, and weekend

(Possibility to work mostly evenings and weekends is available)

Placement: Home care, ordinary housing

Job Responsibilities

• Qualified health and medical care services to patients in ordinary housing

• Supervision and guidance of nursing staff

• Documentation and collaboration with other professionals

Qualifications – Assignment B
