About the Position

As the deputy store manager, you will be part of a team alongside the store manager, where you will jointly share the responsibility for the store. The position is approximately 60% and is perfect for you who are looking for a flexible role that combines responsibility with teamwork.

You will be employed by KFX and work on-site at our client Birsta City. Working hours are varied and include days, evenings, and weekends. In this role, you will handle a combination of operational, administrative, and strategic tasks. You need to be detail-oriented while also having the ability to see the bigger picture, which is crucial for setting and achieving both short-term and long-term goals for the business.

Together with the store manager and Birsta City, you will help drive the business forward with a focus on effective cost control, increased sales, and the continued success of the store.

Responsibilities

As the deputy store manager, you will among other things:

• Contribute to ensuring that the store follows guidelines for assortment, pricing, and inspiration, in collaboration with the store manager.
• Ensure that the store is always in top shape – clean, organized, well-stocked, and inspiring, and take responsibility for this in the absence of the store manager.
• Actively work on customer satisfaction by welcoming and assisting customers, informing about Circuit, and creating a positive store experience.
• Support and coach employees in daily operations, and contribute to creating inspiration, motivation, and engagement within the team.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the store's operations and planning, in dialogue with the store manager.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in service and sustainability. You are business-minded and enjoy working with people, which is crucial for succeeding in the role of deputy store manager. In collaboration with the store manager, you will be a key player in leading and developing the store, which requires previous experience in retail or grocery and confidence in leading employees.

You have a natural ability to collaborate with both employees and the store manager to achieve the store's goals. Furthermore, you are responsible, action-oriented, and positive. This means you take initiative and solve problems when they arise, while also seeing opportunities for improvement and contributing to realizing these together with the team and the store manager.

Communication is one of your strengths – you are clear, attentive, and have a coaching approach that motivates and engages your colleagues. You actively contribute to a positive collaborative climate and ensure that everyone works towards common goals.

But the most important thing is that you have a genuine interest in circularity and a strong desire to create an inspiring and positive customer experience.

This position is suitable for you if:

• You can work during the day, evenings, and weekends.
• You have previous experience in retail.
• You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• You have good experience working towards goals and results.

Start date: by agreement

Extent: Part-time approx. 60%

Salary: individual salary setting (Collective Agreement Unionen)
