Emploid has now been entrusted to help Sekab find an Area Sales Manager! As new in the role, you will be offered a thorough introduction at their headquarters in Örnsköldsvik.

About the role

As an Area Sales Manager at Sekab, you will play a key role in the company's continued expansion. In an industry characterized by long and complex sales cycles, you will be the one to open doors, build trust, develop business, and create long-term partnerships with both new and existing customers in the process industry. You will be an important ambassador for Sekab's bio-based products, helping customers transition to fossil-free chemicals. Based in Sweden, you will meet customers in the European market, which means you need to enjoy traveling and spending a lot of time with customers.

More concretely, the role includes:

- Identifying and engaging new customers

- Managing and developing relationships with existing customers

- Close dialogue and collaboration with your colleagues

- Representing Sekab at international conferences and customer meetings

Since you will primarily be engaging customers in Europe, the role involves a high number of travel days. You can expect to be traveling between 70–100 days per year.

About you

We are looking for someone with a high personal drive and a strong desire to create results in an industry where long-term relationships are crucial. Your curiosity and perseverance mean you are eager to understand complex customer needs and industry-specific challenges to offer solutions that truly make a difference. You are a trustworthy and credible communicator with a natural ability to build relationships and create security for customers. You thrive in an international environment where travel is a natural part of the job, and you function well in various cultural, social, and business contexts. You see opportunities in being out with customers and enjoy independently driving sales processes forward with both energy and structure.

Additionally, the following are required for the position:

- Documented sales experience in the process industry

- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

The following are advantageous:

- Experience in the pulp, pharmaceutical, or chemical industry

- Knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English

- Post-secondary education

Other information

Start: By agreement

Location: Flexible placement, home office

Extent: Full-time, Mon-Fri

Salary: Fixed salary by agreement
