Gynecology/Obstetrics - Outpatient Care

The Gotland Youth Clinic is part of the obstetrics and gynecology outpatient care services.

Our mission is to work health-promoting and preventive around young people's mental, social, and sexual health. We work in teams, cross-professionally around our patients to be able to see and support the whole around a young person's needs and life areas. The team includes midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, and social workers.

Your Responsibilities

As a midwife at the youth clinic, you primarily work with contraceptive counseling, STI testing, and conversation support. We work cross-professionally and have close collaboration in the team around the patient. You will, along with the rest of your colleagues, conduct outreach work, including in all Gotland's primary schools for grades 7-9, including adapted schools. We also conduct outreach activities at youth centers and other venues where young people gather. It is a varied job with great development opportunities.

Who Are You?

We are looking for a licensed midwife. We prefer that you have experience working at a youth clinic and with SRHR issues. However, we also welcome applications from newly graduated midwives.

You have an engaged and flexible approach; we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
