Movant Helsingborg is looking for a Vocational Teacher, specializing in Masonry/Tiling

We are looking for someone who wants to further strengthen our team within Construction. Currently, there are 4 vocational teachers working within BA, and now we are looking for you as well. With us, you will be part of a competent and positive team within BA, a wonderful team throughout the school, and part of a good, positive school culture.

You will teach, lead, and motivate our adult BA students at the school. Your focus is always to place teaching and students at the center and create conditions for our students to thrive, develop, and achieve their educational goals. Your tasks include APL visits, documentation, conducting conversations, collegial learning, school development, and participating in professional development in various forums. You will lead students in their learning, teach both practical and theoretical parts, lecture, and follow up on knowledge development and levels of learning.

We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of work experience in the construction industry, a vocational certificate in Masonry or Tiling, and a genuine pride in the profession, engagement for the job, and our students. If your vocational certificate is in Masonry, we expect you to have knowledge in tiling, and if your vocational certificate is in Tiling, we expect you to have knowledge in masonry. You have previous experience mentoring apprentices or interns. You are expected to be involved in the school's knowledge and values work, familiarize yourself with relevant governing documents, and possess digital competence, an inclusive approach, and the ability to adapt teaching to students' needs.

Currently, we teach in both a course and a subject system. This means that you are expected to delve into what each course/subject entails, central content, and grading criteria.

As a professional, you are curious, eager to learn, unpretentious, a good role model, and naturally filter the chatter. You share your own knowledge, show humility towards colleagues' competencies, and students' diverse backgrounds and goals. Your personality is characterized by collaboration skills, flexibility, and a great ability to build relationships with everyone you meet. In your role as a vocational teacher, you are professional and give our students a positive belief in their abilities so that they can achieve their educational goals. You stand for a learning/developing climate, provide student feedback, assist your colleagues, and maintain a focus on quality.

Meritorious + Formal Competence:

We would also like you to be a qualified/certified vocational teacher. Previous teaching experience, pedagogical ability, and pedagogical education are also meritorious. It is advantageous if you have taught in adult education or at the high school level and have experience from an integrated approach/in collaboration with an SFI or SVA teacher, experience participating in collegial learning, working with systematic quality work, or introducing new colleagues.

Driver's License: A B driver's license is required.

Start Date: According to agreement, preferably early spring

Employment Scope: Full-time or Part-time

Employment Type: Permanent, starting with a 6-month probationary period
