Do you want a meaningful job? Tussmötegården nursing and care home is looking for temporary staff who can work day, evening, and/or night shifts according to the needs of the operation.

We are a municipal nursing home with 80 care places focusing on dementia and somatic care distributed across two buildings. We work based on a person-centered approach where the focus is on health, well-being, and quality of life. Our goal is to create a meaningful everyday life for both care recipients and employees by creating a valuable, safe, and stimulating environment. The services are designed to strengthen the individual's resources so that they can live an independent life.

With us, you will have a fun and stimulating job in a team, where you work closely with care recipients who need support and help in their daily lives. To give you the best possible conditions to perform your work, we offer a structured introduction, regular follow-ups with your immediate supervisor, and an appointed mentor to support you in your work.

Your role

In the role of nursing assistant/care worker, you work closely with care recipients and are an important part of the work team. You are responsible for providing good and safe care based on a person-centered and health-promoting perspective. The work requires you to be attentive, responsible, and collaborative, as well as to contribute to a good working environment.

Your tasks include planning and implementing services together with the work team according to the care recipient's wishes and in accordance with the implementation plan. The work also includes documentation, reporting, and contributing to continuity and quality in care.

Your qualifications and experience

We are looking for you who:

  • Are a qualified nursing assistant
  • Have good communication skills and very good Swedish in speech and writing
  • Are confident in your professional role and have a professional demeanor
  • Have a good ability to plan work together with the team, with the care recipient in focus

It is an advantage if you have:

  • Further education in dementia care, palliative care, and/or BPSD
  • Previous experience working in nursing and care homes
  • Experience with medication management and medication distribution

We need you to be professional, self-driven, and structured. We see that you collaborate well with others and have an empathetic ability.

We face exciting challenges as the Enskede Årsta Vantör district grows and entirely new neighborhoods are built. Approximately 18,000 new apartments are planned by 2030.

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes in the City of Stockholm, you must provide a criminal record extract. The extract must not be older than 6 months from the date of issue.
