We are looking for a senior DBA with a focus on analysis and optimization of an existing SQL Warehouse. The environment consists of SQL Server and tools such as SSIS 2019 and SSMS 15.x. The assignment is characterized by performance challenges where you contribute with deep technical expertise, best practice advice, and a clear focus on improvement. You will work closely with a small team of DW developers in both analysis, prioritization, and implementation of measures.

• Analyze the current SQL Warehouse solution and its performance
• Identify root causes of performance issues and bottlenecks
• Optimize SQL and provide concrete improvement suggestions
• Review database architecture and database design from a performance and maintenance perspective
• Propose and prioritize actions for short- and medium-term improvements
• Collaborate with DW developers on solution design and implementation

• Senior DBA experience
• Strong experience with SQL Server
• Experience with SSIS
• Experience with SSMS
• Strong skills in SQL optimization
• Experience in database architecture and database design
• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written

• Experience with performance-critical data warehouses
• Ability to work in small, specialized teams
• Ability to quickly understand existing environments and suggest improvements
