The IT Department Plays a Central Role in the Authority's Renewal

Department of AI and Data and the Unit of Information Supply

The Department of AI and Data is responsible for development and management within information collaboration, data management, and AI, and creates conditions for an efficient, legally secure, and data-driven operation, contributing to the prevention of incorrect payments. The work includes analysis, master data, information exchange, and applied AI, contributing to better decision support, efficiency, and quality in our services. The department also develops technology and methods to counteract incorrect payments and welfare fraud. We are about 100 employees distributed across two units and five sections.

The Unit of Information Supply is responsible for ensuring that the authority has access to relevant, secure, and reliable information. The mission includes information exchange with public actors, governance of master data, and making open data available. The unit consists of three sections and about 50 employees.

Job Description

We are now looking for a skilled domain architect for our Unit of Information Supply. You will be the cohesive link for the development needed in the area to enable the authority to stay at the forefront of utilizing modern technology for information exchange. The role of Domain Architect focuses on technology, infrastructure, applications, and security within the authority's digital systems and services. The Domain Architect participates in architectural governance, drives the architecture towards the target image, supports development teams with requirements management and solution proposals, and acts as a requirement setter for the development of internal services. The role requires analytical, structured, and proactive abilities in collaboration with agile teams.

The role includes planning for the area's development initiatives as well as developing a long-term target image for the area's services and applications. The role requires a very good technical overall understanding and an ability to build relationships within the organization. The Domain Architect is part of the unit's management team and reports directly to the unit manager. The work is carried out in close collaboration with the product area manager. The role is free from personnel responsibility.

Basic Requirements for the Position

  • University education of at least 180 credits as a computer engineer, systems scientist, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. Alternatively, corresponding work experience that the employer assesses as relevant for the position.
  • At least five years of current experience in architectural work, of which at least 3 years within a large and complex organization, such as a government agency or IT company.
  • At least 5 years of experience in agile development work.
  • Completed certified architecture education.
  • Very good knowledge of communicating in Swedish in speech and writing, as well as high reading comprehension.

Other Merits for the Position

  • Broad knowledge of architectural governance.
  • Broad work experience in requirements management together with stakeholders.
  • Very good experience in modeling and using modeling tools to visualize current states, target states, and transformations, as well as other stakeholder-specific solution views and perspectives.
  • Experience in working with continuous integration and delivery.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture (EA).
  • Familiarity with information management, information architecture, metadata, data management, and data modeling.
  • Experience in participating in collaboration projects with other authorities, municipalities, or regions.
