Team Leader at the Telephone Bank

About the job

As a Team Leader at the Telephone Bank, you will have a central and active role where you combine operational work with leadership. You will work according to a rotating schedule with working hours scheduled between 07:30 and 19:00 on weekdays, which means that your workweeks may vary. With a present and engaged leadership, you will coach customer service representatives both individually and in groups. You will also work operationally in customer calls, especially during peak times, to support the team and contribute to a really good customer experience. By being involved in the daily work, you gain insight into the team's challenges and can provide even better support and coaching.

You are the captain of your team and contribute to the success of the entire Telephone Bank by driving business development, strategic projects, and ensuring that the team meets set goals. You have extra responsibility for the work environment and culture – and for creating an environment where responsibility, development, and collaboration are at the center.

You have full personnel responsibility and lead, coach, and develop a team of about 15 people to achieve set goals. You are responsible for distributing work, following up on performance, and ensuring high quality in customer interactions. You actively work with workplace issues, recruitment, and salary discussions, and contribute to the development of the business by participating in projects and being an operations manager to ensure good and consistent delivery.

Competence and experience

  • At least a high school diploma, preferably a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Previous leadership experience, preferably in banking, customer service, or similar, is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • You enjoy coaching and developing others.
  • You have a strong drive to contribute to the team's and business's development and are used to working towards clear goals.
  • You are meticulous, problem-solving oriented, and have the desire to learn new things.
