Do you want to be the face of some of Sweden's strongest beverage brands – and make a real difference in stores every day? At Spendrups Brewery, you will combine business acumen, relationships, and drive in a role where you develop both sales and collaborations in your district.
As a category salesperson with us, you belong to the retail division and primarily operate against stores within the Grocery Trade. The district covers Dalarna and parts of Västmanland and we expect you to reside and operate from the Falun/Borlänge area.
As a category salesperson, you work towards our mission that Spendrups should be the industry's best business partner and consumers' first choice in stores, and your task is to develop your district's sales as a whole. You create and maintain rewarding business relationships through your demeanor and actions, you are an advisor and idea generator in matters concerning our categories and products, where you are responsible for ensuring that our brands are presented in the best possible way on shelves and floors. Of course, you do this with the stores in your district, but it is equally important that you share your insights and knowledge with colleagues both within your region and with the company at large.
The sales division has over 60 employees, of which 24 are category salespeople, divided into three regions, each with its own regional sales manager. You will work with wonderful colleagues who all strive towards our vision of being a world-class brewery and who act according to our values: Authenticity, Innovation, and Action.
Job Description
As a category salesperson, you are responsible for driving and developing the sales of Spendrups products and brands in your district and contributing to increasing the profitability of the stores and Spendrups by:
ensuring the distribution of our products within the district
actively contributing to driving the profitability of stores by influencing assortment, campaigns, and sales points
acting in a business-developing and advisory manner with long-term, mutual profitability and growth as goals, together with your customers
optimizing and displaying campaign volumes during centrally booked campaigns, selective campaigns, and trade activations
actively participating in store renovations within your own district to ensure that Spendrups brands receive the most optimal sales area/coverage on floors and shelves
ensuring that central agreements are communicated, adhered to, and explained to all relevant visiting customers
Requirements and Personal Attributes
at least three years of upper secondary education, preferably with an economic focus. Post-secondary education (e.g., IHM) is an advantage
at least 3 years of sales experience, preferably within the Grocery Trade
valid driver's license (B)
good knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite
good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
experience in business acumen
As a person, you are good at creating strong business contacts, maintaining relationships, and persuading customers. You are flexible, humble, and determined; you see opportunities and find solutions where needed. You have a strong habit of taking personal responsibility and independently structuring the tasks to be performed, as well as having the drive to take initiative and move things forward.
Moreover, you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining calm, and you certainly like to seize every opportunity that arises to make good and profitable deals.
Finally, you are the person who goes the extra mile to create value and trust with customers.
