Do you want to help drive the future of public transport? Nobina is now looking for an engaged and experienced maintenance manager for our workshop in Lund.

About the traffic area
The Skåne traffic area is one of Nobina's 17 traffic areas in Sweden. Approximately 500 employees work here, and the area has a total of 200 vehicles. Our workshop plays a central role in keeping the bus fleet in top condition – around the clock, year-round. This is a full-time position based in our workshop in Lund, where you will have personnel responsibility for about 20 mechanics. You will work during the day, but some evening and night shifts may occur.

About the position
As a maintenance manager, you have the operational responsibility for the workshop in Lund. You ensure that the buses are in the right condition and delivered to traffic as planned – through effective, goal-oriented, and coaching leadership. The role involves you:

• Leading, planning, and following up on the daily work in the workshop.

• Setting goals, establishing clear expectations and demands on the team.

• Being responsible for developing and motivating the staff.

• Having full personnel responsibility for the employees in the workshop.

• Working with tools and system support such as OMS – and ensuring that the systems are kept up to date.

• Being active in Nobina's electrification journey and driving change related to new vehicles and infrastructure.

About you
We would like you to have several years of experience in a similar leadership role in a similar industry. Furthermore, we see that you have a good technical understanding of vehicles, preferably electric vehicles. To succeed in the role, you should have a strong desire to be a leader; we are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility, coach, develop, and lead a team.

Other qualifications:

• Good system familiarity – you have worked in business/maintenance systems.

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Experience working goal-oriented and driving change.
