Plastoco Oy Ab is a family-owned company founded in 1980, based in Borgå, Finland. We specialize in contract manufacturing of technical plastic and metal components and are known for our high product quality and delivery precision. With over 40 years of experience, we combine traditional craftsmanship with modern technology, such as advanced injection molding and MIM (Metal Injection Moulding).

About the role

As a technical sales representative/outside sales, you play a crucial role in our Swedish expansion. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and establishing long-term customer relationships. The role involves representing Plastoco's tailored solutions in:

  • Plastic injection molding: Manufacturing of technical plastic components.
  • MIM (Metal Injection Molding): Manufacturing of precision metal components.

You will work from your home office in Sweden and operate independently across the entire country.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

The role involves proactively seeking and developing new customer relationships in the Swedish market. You will work through the entire sales process, from prospecting and relationship building to understanding customer needs and contributing to presenting suitable manufacturing solutions for plastic and metal components. More specifically, you will:

  • Prospect, identify, and contact new potential customers in the Swedish market.
  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships through face-to-face meetings and field visits.
  • Understand customer needs and present Plastoco's manufacturing solutions for plastic and metal components.
  • Initiate and drive sales processes, from first contact to contract negotiation.
  • Collaborate closely with our experienced team in Finland to develop business.
  • Plan and conduct trips within the region for customer meetings.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a salesperson at heart with a strong inner drive. You enjoy working independently and managing your own schedule.

  • A few years of experience or interest in technical sales.
  • Excellent skills in information searching.
  • You express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
  • You enjoy being on the road and planning frequent trips within Sweden.
  • You can work long-term with sales leads.
  • Driver's license B.

Meritorious:

  • Experience in sales, customer acquisition, or technology.
  • Own car available.

Additional information

  • Start: By agreement.
  • Extent: Full-time, permanent.
  • Location: Remote work/Home office in Sweden.
