Licensed Speech Therapist with Interest in Young Children with Autism
The habilitation is a regional clinic with operations in Norrköping, Linköping, and Motala. We are about 120 employees.

We are a specialized organization that offers habilitation services to children, adolescents, and adults, as well as their relatives and networks. Within habilitation, we work in teams based on age and disability. Our target groups mainly consist of individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and movement disabilities. Habilitation services provide a qualitative complement to the healthcare system's other interventions and the general support of society. In Linköping, there are several teams focusing on children or adults, where the services include assessment, evaluation, treatment, and advice.
Job Description
We are looking for a licensed speech therapist for one of the children's teams in Linköping, focusing on young children with autism. With us, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team and have both team-based and individual visits. You will meet children and their families and networks in various environments. As a speech therapist in the team, your tasks will include working with interventions in the area of autism, which involves assessing speech, language, communication, voice, oral motor skills, and eating. Advising on alternative communication strategies, prescribing communication aids, and creating materials and training programs for speech, language, communication, voice, and oral motor skills.
You will conduct individual assessments and have visits together with other professionals. In collaboration with other team members, you will also provide information, guidance, and training to individuals in the child's immediate environment.
About You
Licensed speech therapist with a few years of professional experience and competence in interventions for children with autism. Education and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an advantage. Training in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Selective Eating is also an asset.
Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities and teamwork is preferred.
You have a natural ability to communicate and create good collaborations with different professions. You are flexible, see opportunities in changes, and have a positive attitude. Your working method is characterized by high quality while planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work effectively. Personal suitability is highly valued.
