Care for People with Disabilities
Do you want to make a real difference every day? With us in the department of care for people with disabilities (OoF), you will work with a meaningful mission: to support people of all ages with various disabilities in their daily lives.
We are an executing organization in constant development, and our values of participation, trust, and care permeate everything we do.
With about 370 dedicated employees across several units, we offer services such as housing with special service, short-term stays, housing support, employment, guidance, and daily activities. The health and medical services part consists of three skilled nurses.
We work with a trust-based and salutogenic approach, creating conditions for both a good working environment and high participation for our employees and clients. Here, you can help shape the future of care!
We are now looking for two nurses for permanent positions and one nurse for a six-month temporary position. We have a non-prestigious and supportive work climate where we help each other and develop together. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with participation, working environment, and development, always with the client at the center.
We in the LSS operations believe we have one of the most rewarding jobs within Region Gotland – and we want you to experience it too!
Your Responsibilities
As a nurse with us, you will have a central and significant role in the team. You will be responsible for individual care and work closely with other professionals, focusing on the individual. Your medical competence makes a difference and contributes to safety and added value for both clients and colleagues. You will guide and support employees in the organization, educate, and delegate various types of interventions to other staff.
The work is varied and independent – you will handle both planned interventions and acute situations. You will consult with doctors at health centers, delegate medical tasks to care staff, and act as support and advisor in the team.
Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday.
Who Are You?
We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with further education as a district nurse or further education in psychiatry. A B driver's license is a requirement.
It is also advantageous if you have experience in the field, supervisory training, or other advanced training, as well as experience with systems like Treserva and Take Care.
We see that you are confident, stable, and professional. You are responsible, structured, and good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work. You are self-driven, can take your own initiatives and make important decisions – but also value teamwork, which is an important part of our working method.
You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills.
Before employment, a satisfactory extract from the police criminal record is required.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Selection is ongoing – please send in your application today and take the chance to become part of our fantastic team!
