We are looking for a nurse for our new unit!

We are expanding our unit and are now looking for another nurse to complete our team!

Do you want to be part of developing our new unit with mobile care teams? Here you have a chance to help shape the future of home healthcare. You are warmly welcome to apply to us.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work with specialized care in the patient's home. The mobile unit consists of the AH team (advanced home healthcare) and the home care team. You will work within both teams. Weekend shifts will take place in the AH team. You will collaborate closely with other professionals, primarily doctors and nursing assistants, and cooperate externally with municipalities and health centers. The work involves a lot of contact with patients and their relatives, so it is important that you have the ability to build good relationships and create security. You will make assessments and visits in patients' homes based on their needs.

Medical technical tasks such as blood transfusions are common.

About the Workplace

The home care team and the AH team have formed their own unit within the medical clinic in Köping/Fagersta. The teams consist of about 14 employees. We are a smaller workgroup that enjoys working together and we value each other's differences.

The home care team in Köping provides specialized treatment in patients' homes and is a planned operation with doctors. We are here for patients who cannot get to healthcare, and our mission is to create security at home and avoid hospital admissions. Cooperation occurs with municipal home healthcare and health centers via digital rounds every week.

The AH team (Advanced Home Healthcare) provides advanced palliative care at home. The work includes symptom control, teamwork, relationship/communication, and support for relatives to alleviate physical, psychological, social, and existential suffering. This involves a strong focus on mutual interpersonal relationships primarily with the patient but also with their relatives.

The unit is currently in the process of building up operations and collaboration projects are underway with the municipalities in our catchment area. It is an exciting journey ahead that you will be a part of.

For us, it is important that you feel good and enjoy your job, therefore we offer you:

  • tailored introduction program to help you feel secure and confident in your professional role
  • opportunity for professional development through internal training
  • a workplace for different stages of life, with flexible working hours within certain frameworks
  • free training at our fully equipped gym
  • wellness allowance of 3000 SEK/year

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed nurse and has experience in the profession. A B driver's license is required. Further education in palliative care or specialist training in a relevant area for the position is an advantage. Since you need to communicate verbally and in writing with patients, relatives, and colleagues, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required.

As a person, you are empathetic, secure in your professional role, and have the ability to make your own decisions in your work. Conducting development work is part of the job, and we are looking for someone who sees opportunities, is solution-focused, and wants to help develop mobile home healthcare. This is a job for you who enjoys collaborating with others and wants a meaningful job close to patients and relatives. You have the ability to adapt to the person you are caring for. When situations and circumstances change, you are flexible and adaptable in your approach. We place great importance on personal suitability.
