to apply for the job
In this role, assignments are primarily based in Södertälje, in close collaboration with the customer's production, as well as with colleagues in Stockholm and Uppsala.
As a project manager, you will work on projects that are directly related to production within pharmaceuticals and other regulated industries. Projects vary in size and phase depending on your experience – from smaller sub-projects to larger initiatives with team and budget responsibility.
You will drive technology-related projects where the solutions must work in a real operational environment.
Examples of responsibilities:
- Lead projects within production technology, automation, and industrial IT
- Plan, drive, and follow up on projects in various phases and scopes
- Be responsible for projects related to production development, improvements, and technical changes
- Drive improvement work and LEAN initiatives
- Work closely with production, specialists, and other functions in cross-functional teams
- Engineering degree in a relevant technical field
- Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
- Good English skills, both spoken and written
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Life Science, Medtech, or another regulated field, for example as a project engineer, project manager, or in another role where you have had responsibility in technical projects
- Experience working in an environment where GMP or similar regulatory requirements are central
- Certification in project management (PMP, IPMA, CAPM, or similar)
- Experience with automation projects or projects within industrial IT/computerized systems
- Experience working closely with production in the pharmaceutical industry
You are a person who makes things happen. When something is unclear, you do not wait for perfect instructions but find out what is needed and drive the work forward. You thrive in environments with many points of contact and find it easy to communicate with everyone from production operators to specialists and managers. At the same time, you have the ability to create structure where it is needed. You can prioritize, keep multiple parts together at the same time, and ensure that the project does not lose direction even when the pace is high and conditions change.
You may not have held the title of project manager for many years – but you are used to taking responsibility, initiating action, and stepping up when needed.
