On behalf of our client in the technical/industrial sector in Hässleholm, we are now looking for a purchaser for a temporary position (with good opportunities for further development within the company) in a business with high demands on quality, delivery reliability, and functioning material flows. Here, you will step into an operational and important role close to both warehouse, production, and suppliers.

The role is based in Hässleholm and you will report to the Logistics Manager.

ABOUT THE ROLE As a purchaser, you will work broadly with operational purchasing, inventory management, and delivery follow-up. You will have daily contact with suppliers, ensure that the right materials are in place at the right time, and actively contribute to developing work methods, flows, and processes within the logistics area.

The work involves many points of contact – both internally and externally – and is suitable for you who thrive in a coordinating role where structure, foresight, and collaboration are crucial.

Responsibilities: 

• Daily communication with suppliers to ensure efficient material flows

• Work with forecasts, orders, and follow-up on deliveries

• Manage orders to the warehouse and monitor delivery notifications and delivery deviations

• Work with inventory management and contribute to good inventory balance

• Participate in and drive improvement work together with suppliers, for example in delivery reliability, material flows, and logistics solutions

• Contribute to the development of routines and processes within logistics and purchasing

• Participate in logistics and purchasing projects, such as inventory optimization and cost-saving initiatives

• Support production in purchasing and logistics-related issues

• Establish short- and long-term purchasing plans

• Participate in procurements related to logistics services

ABOUT YOU

You are a sharp and structured person with a clear focus on delivery, pace, and responsibility. You work methodically even when there is a lot to do and have the ability to prioritize, follow up, and get things done.

You do not need to be a senior purchaser, but you have the right attitude, are curious, and have sufficient technical understanding to quickly familiarize yourself with products, suppliers, and the everyday operations of the business. You are not afraid to ask questions, take responsibility, and enjoy working closely with both production and suppliers.

Requirements: 

• Post-secondary education in purchasing, logistics, engineering or equivalent work experience

• Ability to work systematically towards clear demands on delivery, quality, and time

• Basic technical understanding to be able to familiarize yourself with products, materials, and supplier flows

• Good communication skills and experience with many points of contact

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Good computer skills and ability to quickly familiarize yourself with business and operational systems

Meritorious:

• Experience in purchasing, logistics, inventory management, or material planning

• Experience from industrial, technical, or production-related operations

• Experience working under high demands for delivery reliability and follow-up

• Familiarity with business/maintenance systems

• Experience working in a security-classified environment or with regulated operations
