We at Randstad Norrköping are now looking for a buyer for the project procurement organization at our client Siemens Energy in Finspång.

As the project procurement manager, you will be responsible for your supplier base. You will be the spider in the web of the supply chain with both internal contacts and external contacts with suppliers worldwide. This means that you will work according to established routines, but also handle urgent matters and solve problems. Together with your colleagues, you will ensure good purchasing quality based on the needs of the business and work on continuous improvements of our supply chain.

Today, there is a team of ten people in the same role and also a purchasing planner. The team is a mix of junior and senior individuals with good teamwork, and they work a lot with other interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate project-specific purchase orders based on agreed terms and price lists
• Ensure compliance with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures
• Build supplier relationships and formalize communication
• Ensure that suppliers maintain agreed delivery reliability
• Collaborate closely with others on procurement-related tasks
• Review opportunities for continuous improvement and business enhancement
• Prepare and manage purchase orders
• Communicate any delivery issues that may affect business operations
• Actively participate in our digital transformation

Qualifications

• We see that you have the ability to build effective and positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers
• You have good communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and influencing skills and are analytical, with strong documented problem-solving abilities
• You have the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and achieve set goals.
• You are adaptable to varying business and customer requirements and have commercial and financial awareness
• You should have familiarity with SAP, experience in procurement, and a good ability to express yourself in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
