About the position

We are looking for you who is a creative, active, and idea-generating leader and "teacher" – note, not in title or formal education, but in your personality.

Here we focus on actively coaching lessons for a brighter future where our 8-year-old can achieve as wonderful, independent, and content-rich a life as possible! YOU will thus become a very important ingredient in achieving that ability!

This is an active and pedagogical assistant role where you lead a child in various environments – such as school, TV recordings, doctor visits, and shopping situations. The job involves holding thematic lessons focused on reading, writing, counting, and practical knowledge where the role resembles a combination of special teacher and creative guide.

You will work closely with a parent and have an active role in the child's daily life, including all its tasks. When you are on duty, the parent is off (even when the parent is physically present) – this means you need to be able to take great responsibility, juggle many tasks, and at the same time be a safe adult for a small life. You will become part of our little family.

The assignment requires both sharpness and drive – but also humor, flexibility, and a good dose of self-distance.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

You are energetic, independent, and wise enough to determine what is truly important. You are communicative and confident in leading and teaching a child in everyday life. Someone who can follow instructions but also read between the lines. We are looking for potential – not experience or education.

Energetic, curious, and proactive. Sharp, communicative, and clear. Independent but cooperative. Responsible with a cheerful and delightful demeanor.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "as long as the assistance assignment lasts." We offer positions at 75–100% and 50–75%.

Employment rate and schedule will be determined by agreement. Work will take place according to a rolling schedule and will include both day and evening hours on weekdays within the framework of 7 AM to 10 PM, where you will agree with the supervisor on your working hours.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

As a personal assistant, you work within the framework of LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons) and provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance. Each customer is unique, and the tasks vary based on the customer's needs. In the role, you uphold the customer's self-determination and integrity and contribute to ensuring that everyday life functions safely and smoothly. To start an employment at Humana, you need to present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as employers are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years old. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
