Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Estrella, is seeking a maintenance technician with knowledge in automation. The position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord, but you will be employed directly by Estrella. As a maintenance technician, you will work on a rotating 5-shift schedule that includes day, evening, and night work.

What you will do

As a maintenance technician at Estrella, no day is the same. With your knowledge in automation, you will perform continuous maintenance on production equipment, manufacture parts and equipment as needed, carry out preventive maintenance, and report completed work according to procedures. You will also ensure the functionality of the building and its subsystems, such as ventilation and boiler.

Furthermore, you will participate in improvement work, ensure that drawings and documentation are kept up to date with changes, and that root cause analyses are conducted in case of failures. Other examples of tasks will include:

• Planning future work and liaising with suppliers
• Participating in development projects as a representative of the maintenance department
• Training production staff in equipment handling
• Ensuring order and cleanliness is maintained within the maintenance department's domains
• Actively evaluating workplace environment aspects of equipment and working towards a positive development in the area of workplace safety

We are looking for someone who

• Has a high school/YH/university education in automation, vehicles, electrical engineering, or similar
• Has work experience in maintenance within the industry
• Has very good knowledge in automation
• Has good computer skills and very good knowledge of Office programs
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has basic knowledge of English
• Has a good technical understanding and a strong interest in technology

If you have knowledge of welding, turning, or milling, it is a merit for the position. It is also a merit if you have previously worked as an industrial electrician or within the food industry, but it is not a requirement.
