Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Estrella, is looking for a maintenance technician with good knowledge of PLC. The position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord, but you will be employed directly by Estrella. As a maintenance technician, you will work a rotating 5-shift that includes day, evening, and night work.

What you will do

As a maintenance technician at Estrella, no day is the same. With your PLC knowledge, you will perform continuous maintenance on production equipment, manufacture parts and equipment as needed, perform preventive maintenance, and report completed work according to procedures. You will also ensure the functionality of the building and its subsystems, such as ventilation and boiler.

Furthermore, you will participate in improvement work, ensure that drawings and documents are kept updated during changes, and that root cause analyses are conducted in the event of failures. Other examples of tasks will include:

• Planning future work and communicating with suppliers
• Participating in development projects as a representative of the maintenance department
• Training production staff in the handling of equipment
• Ensuring that order and cleanliness are maintained within the maintenance department's domains
• Actively evaluating workplace environment aspects of equipment and working towards a positive development in the field of occupational health and safety

We are looking for someone who

• Has a high school/YH/university education in automation, vehicles, electrical engineering, or similar
• Has work experience in maintenance work with very good knowledge of PLC
• Has good computer skills and very good knowledge of Office programs
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has basic knowledge of the English language
• Has a good technical understanding and a great interest in technology

If you have knowledge of welding, turning, or milling, it is a merit for the position. It is also a merit if you have previously worked as an industrial electrician or in the food industry, but it is not a requirement.
