Professionals Nord, in collaboration with Estrella, is looking for a maintenance technician. The position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is handled by Professionals Nord, but you will be employed directly by Estrella. As a maintenance technician, you will work a rotating 5-shift schedule that includes day, evening, and night work.

What you will do

As an experienced maintenance technician at Estrella, you will be a central resource in the entire team. With your seniority, you will work closely with production and take responsibility for solving complex mechanical faults, developing long-term improvements, and contributing to increased operational reliability. You will continuously perform maintenance on production equipment, manufacture parts and equipment as needed, carry out preventive maintenance, and report completed work according to procedures. You will also ensure the functionality of the building and its subsystems, such as ventilation and boiler.

Furthermore, you will ensure that drawings and documentation are kept updated during changes and that root cause analyses are conducted in case of failures. Other examples of tasks will include:

• Planning future work and liaising with suppliers
• Participating in development projects as a representative of the UH department
• Training production staff in equipment handling
• Ensuring order and cleanliness are maintained within the UH department's domains
• Actively evaluating workplace environment aspects on equipment and working towards a positive development in the workplace environment area

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least a couple of years of work experience in maintenance within the industry
• Has knowledge of welding, turning, or milling
• Has a high school/YH/university education in automation, vehicles, electrical engineering, or similar
• Has good computer skills and very good knowledge of Office programs
• Is fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Has basic knowledge of English
• Has a good technical understanding and a strong interest in technology

It is an advantage if you have previously worked as an industrial electrician or in the food industry, but it is not a requirement.
