Do you want to work closely with production and play a key role in ensuring an efficient and robust supply chain? We are now looking for an Operational Buyer responsible for sourcing gas turbine components from external suppliers to internal customers, primarily the in-house workshop.

About the role

As an Operational Buyer, you will be responsible for daily purchasing activities based on agreements developed by strategic buyers. You will ensure timely deliveries based on customer and operational needs and actively work to develop the purchasing area for increased efficiency and delivery precision.

You play a central role in the supply chain and collaborate closely with both internal functions and external suppliers. The role involves clear operational responsibility combined with problem-solving in both the short and long term.

Responsibilities

• Place and follow up on purchase orders according to applicable agreements
• Monitor deliveries and manage deviations in the supply chain
• Ensure timely deliveries based on customer and production needs
• Drive and lead supplier meetings
• Work on supplier development and performance follow-up
• Material planning in close collaboration with the workshop and internal customers
• Manage purchasing-related invoices
• Ongoing communication with customers and suppliers
• Contribute to and drive improvement and process development work within purchasing and the supply chain

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in operational purchasing within industry, production, or workshop environments
• Is accustomed to working in business systems (ERP) and with delivery follow-up
• Has a good understanding of supply chains, material flows, and delivery planning
• Is structured, solution-oriented, and enjoys a role with many contact points
• Has good communication skills and is confident in dialogue with suppliers
• Is proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with technical components or spare parts
• Experience in supplier development
• Knowledge of gas turbines or similar complex products
