Do you want to play a key role in an organization where quality, cost-effectiveness, and smart purchasing make a real difference? We are now looking for a driven and analytical Buyer for a 6-month temporary position, responsible for both direct and indirect materials.

About the role

As a Buyer with us, you will be responsible for the entire purchasing process – from needs analysis and supplier selection to negotiation, contracts, and follow-up. You will work closely with production, engineering, finance, and other internal functions to ensure that the right materials are in place at the right time and at the right cost.

The role is a fixed-term position for 6 months with the possibility of extension depending on the needs of the business.

Your main responsibilities

• Be responsible for purchasing both direct materials (components, raw materials, production-related materials) and indirect materials (services, equipment, consumables).
• Conduct supplier analysis, procurement, and price negotiations.
• Develop and follow up supplier relationships and ensure quality and delivery precision.
• Work on cost optimization, contract improvements, and strategic purchasing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and create effective purchasing solutions.
• Monitor KPIs, analyze purchasing data, and contribute to continuous improvements.

Who are you?

We believe you have:

• Experience in purchasing, preferably within steel, fasteners, and/or supplies.
• Good negotiation skills and an understanding of contracts and commercial terms.
• Structured work style and the ability to manage multiple parallel processes.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in cost optimization.
• Good communication skills and ease in building relationships.
• Experience with business systems and preferably knowledge of purchasing methodology.
• Experience from the automotive industry is a plus but not a requirement.
