Do you want to be part of a team with dedicated colleagues working to make a real difference for people with dementia? Welcome to the Dementia Team in Kungälv Municipality!

We are expanding and are now looking for more nursing assistants for the dementia team.

With us, you will have the chance to work with home care services that truly matter, always based on the individual's needs and assistance decisions. You will work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while having your colleagues close at hand.

Our goal is to create conditions for a meaningful life where security, self-determination, and respect for each person's integrity are at the center. We work systematically with BPSD assessment to understand and meet the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia and to develop our competence and quality in care.

As a nursing assistant with us, you will be an important part of the network around the users. You motivate, stimulate, and adapt the services to each individual's unique circumstances. The tasks are varied, and you gain insight into many people's lives, which both enriches and challenges you. You work closely with colleagues from different professions and contribute to developing our advocacy roles and implementing welfare technology. We believe in collaboration, innovation, and learning from each other.

Working hours: Day, evening, and every other weekend

You will:

• Be a permanent care contact.
• Plan, implement, and document in Treserva.
• Perform health and medical care tasks on delegation from a nurse.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Are a trained nursing assistant.
• Have a protected professional title or service certificate confirming that you were permanently employed with the title nursing assistant as of July 1, 2023.
• Have a B driver's license.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing.
• Good computer skills.
• Interest in working with development.

It is important that you have a positive view of people, a strong commitment, a sense of responsibility, and that you focus on the individual needs of the users. You have good collaboration skills, initiative, and can work independently.

It is an advantage if you have a specialist nursing assistant education in dementia or experience with dementia.
