About Us

The physiotherapists and physical therapists within specialist care all belong to the same organization, Paramedicine Sörmland. Our task is to create the best possible well-being and quality of life for patients in need of rehabilitation.

During the holiday period, we are looking for you who are a physiotherapy student and have completed at least semester 4, to support our regular physiotherapists/physical therapists and occupational therapists in their daily work.

With us, you will gain experience in patient meetings and meet patients with various injuries and illnesses, which is usually very beneficial for the remaining semesters of your education. We also see the possibility of future employment with us where you can try our operations and we can get to know you.

Your Responsibilities

As a paramedical assistant, you will perform tasks delegated by a licensed occupational therapist or physiotherapist/physical therapist. This may include the distribution of assistive devices both in inpatient wards and in the patient's home, supporting patients in executing training programs, or assisting with other related tasks.

Your Qualifications

You are a physiotherapy student who has completed at least semester 4. You have a good ability to collaborate as you will work closely with our licensed occupational therapists and physiotherapists, as well as with other healthcare professionals. You are structured and responsible for your tasks. You are flexible and can easily adapt based on what the situation requires. We prefer that you are a calm and secure person. Holding a B driver's license is desirable.

We place great importance on personal qualities.
