The Orthopedic Clinic

The orthopedic clinic at Nyköping Hospital is a large operation consisting of an orthopedic care department with both elective and emergency services. At the orthopedic outpatient clinic, we conduct doctor consultations in parallel with nurse consultations. We also have a cast clinic and perform surgeries under local anesthesia. The orthopedic outpatient clinic employs six nurses and five nursing assistants/cast technicians.

Your Tasks

The work involves Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week. We create personal schedules within the framework of the operation. Our tasks are varied, including administrative tasks such as telephone advice, 1177 and Link, waiting lists, and patient bookings for the clinic. The other part consists of receiving patients for surgery, wound dressings, and suture removals. We also support the doctors during their consultations.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone with good collaboration skills, who is attentive and unpretentious. You are cheerful and positive and want to contribute to the team with your experience and competence. You have a patient-centered focus and create participation and consensus in the care meeting. Since we work closely together, we place great importance on personal qualities. It is important that you have a holistic view and can see the bigger picture and act in the best interest of the entire operation in your actions and decisions. You are a licensed nurse, and it is advantageous if you have experience in outpatient care, as well as experience in orthopedics or surgical operations.

Employment Type

Permanent employment 100% daytime with start date according to agreement.
