Our Operations

We diagnose and treat children and adults with diseases in the ear, nose, and throat area. We are a regional and university clinic and offer both basic and highly specialized care, including implant surgery. Our patients primarily come from Uppsala County, the Uppsala-Örebro region, but also from other parts of Sweden. We have a nationally highly specialized care assignment for glomus tumors. The clinic and the otosurgical section have extensive collaboration with other disciplines at Uppsala University Hospital and are part of several multidisciplinary patient processes. Advanced research is conducted within the clinic in collaboration with other groups at Uppsala University.

Your Mission

Your mission involves clinical duties at our otosurgery outpatient clinic and operating department. You will work closely with our audiologists and cochlear implant team. The mission also includes on-call shifts as day backup at our two ear, nose, and throat outpatient clinics. You are expected to be involved in the development of the otosurgical section with a strong focus on training junior colleagues in otosurgery. On-call duties are included.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with specialist competence in ear, nose, and throat diseases and several years of experience in otosurgery. You are expected to have scientific qualifications and an interest in education, research, and medical development work.
