Customer Ambassador at Pågatågen

We are looking for someone who wants to help elevate the customer experience on Pågatågen to the best in Skåne. As a customer ambassador, you will be one of VR Sweden's most important representatives in contact with our travelers. Being a customer ambassador is a fun, mobile, and varied job that requires a lot from those who practice the profession, but gives so much back!

Your mission as a customer ambassador means you are available for our customers, you check tickets, provide information during any disruptions, and offer our customers the best possible service through a safe, secure, and pleasant journey.

The job as a customer ambassador with us involves scheduled working hours that vary throughout the day. The scheduling is regulated according to collective agreements, rules, and traffic. Therefore, it is important to be able to reach the workplace at all hours of the day.

Your background and skills

• High school diploma or equivalent educational level
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• At least 3 years of work experience, with at least two years in a service role
• Good social skills
• Good technical understanding and computer skills
• Good health and physical fitness

Meritorious:

• Additional language skills
• Previous experience of working irregular hours
• Driver's license

Being a customer ambassador at Pågatågen is a responsible job that requires a systematic approach, an interest in working with people, and personal contact. We want you to be service-oriented, and to fit in the role, you are a person who is always professional regardless of the situation. You need to be calm, secure, and independent to handle pressured situations and disruptions. Creating security among travelers and colleagues is one of your primary tasks; sometimes many things are happening at once, and you must be able to prioritize.

As a customer ambassador, you will be moving around in our trains all the time, so good health and physical fitness are a requirement. We have a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and drugs.

When you become part of VR Sweden

You will be employed during the summer to cover for our regular staff during their vacations. We expect you to be available for work throughout the period from May 11 to September 30. This is a part-time position, after which there is a possibility of extension in certain locations. We have 5 different depots within Pågatågen: Ystad, Trelleborg, Malmö, Hässleholm, and Helsingborg. Please specify which location(s) you are interested in working at.

When you become part of VR Sweden, your employment begins with a paid theoretical and practical full-time training that starts on May 11, which is mandatory. The training takes place during the day as well as evenings and weekends. Home studies and written exams are part of the training process.
