Cleaning Supervisor

Cleaning Area 1
The cleaning unit performs daily cleaning in the Region's facilities such as schools and healthcare.
The area that is cleaned corresponds to over 40 football fields and is distributed across more than 300 different cleaning locations. The unit has cleaning assignments from Fårösund in the north to Burgsvik in the south. Cleaning is an important part of preventing the spread of infection and maintaining good hygiene in our facilities.
We offer you a varied job where you have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally with the development of the Region's cleaning unit.
Your Responsibilities
The supervisors in cleaning area 1 work closely with the unit manager and share responsibility for Korpen and Visby hospital. The position includes scheduled work every third weekend. You are an early riser as the regular working hours are 05:30-14:00.
The supervisor is responsible for planning, leading, and following up on the daily work and the quality of the work performed within the workgroup.
You will, together with the unit manager, be responsible for vacation planning, leave planning, and staffing. Together with the unit manager, supervisors, and cleaners, you will plan work areas. You will follow developments in the cleaning industry and inform about the correct working methods and be responsible for preventive workplace measures. You will be responsible for sick and health notifications and time reporting.
As a supervisor with us, you contribute to customer relations and development work characterized by the administration's guiding principles: customer focus, efficiency, proactivity, and clarity.
Who Are You?
We see that you have SRY training or equivalent training in cleaning. You have experience using a scrubber. We see that you have experience in a supervisory position within cleaning, preferably hospital cleaning, staffing, service, or other areas that the employer deems equivalent. You have experience in cleaning and a good sense of cleanliness and hygiene. The position requires that you have a driver's license and access to your own car.
As a supervisor, you should enjoy working with people! You handle many contacts in the form of employees and customers, so you are communicative and confident in both verbal and written communication. Other important qualities for the role are having a very good ability to collaborate where you listen, communicate, and solve daily issues constructively.
As supervisors handle multiple systems, you are comfortable using a computer and have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
