As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support our Housekeeping Manager in the daily operational work regarding cleaning of public areas or guest rooms. Public area cleaning includes all public spaces and behind-the-scenes cleaning. Guest room cleaning includes cleaning of all hotel rooms and related areas.

The Housekeeping department ensures that all hotel environments are beautiful, prepared, cleaned, and fresh for our guests. We are a large team working together to make this possible, and your role as a supervisor will be central to making the operation function.

Your work is operations-oriented, which requires you to be clearly present, flexible, and proactive to reinforce our high service and quality standards. You actively contribute to an open and pleasant work environment and take great personal responsibility towards your colleagues by exemplary adhering to industry regulations, being a good supervisor and colleague, and inspiring skill enhancement. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will lead both experienced cleaning staff and newly trained employees, including inexperienced colleagues. Your mission will therefore be to coach and guide each employee so that they can grow, thrive, and develop.

You have a good ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously and take great responsibility for being available to all employees in your area by motivating, inspiring, and being helpful in situations that may arise. You report to our Housekeeping Manager and work closely with other supervisors within Housekeeping as well as other colleagues at the hotel.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least one year of experience leading and organizing a large staff group within hotel cleaning; previous experience with similar tasks in the cleaning industry is an advantage. We value if you have cleaning training and/or relevant leadership training for the role. You have a structured and solution-oriented approach to work and the ability to switch between a holistic perspective and detail level. You easily create and maintain good relationships and collaborations, both internally and externally, and you are attracted by the opportunity to influence and develop the operation.

You can manage large workgroups where many different cultures are represented, which means great importance is placed on clarity and communication with the ability to express yourself well in both Swedish and English. Good computer skills and proficiency in Excel and Word are required.
