Join as a Pool Cleaner in Region Gotland

In Region Gotland, you can develop and grow, both as an individual and together with others. When you work with us, you contribute to making Gotland an even better place for people in all walks of life. We make each other better.

Cleaning Area 1

The cleaning unit performs daily cleaning in the Region's facilities such as schools and healthcare.

The area being cleaned corresponds to over 40 football fields and is distributed across more than 300 different cleaning locations. The unit has cleaning assignments from Fårösund in the north to Burgsvik in the south. Cleaning is an important part of preventing the spread of infection and maintaining good hygiene in our facilities.

We are now looking for a pool cleaner to join our team of six, with scheduled weekend work every third weekend, primarily cleaning at Visby Hospital and Korpen in Visby.

Your Responsibilities

Pool cleaners replace regular cleaners during their absence and work on a scheduled basis every third weekend. If not replacing a specific cleaner, you will perform machine scrubbing, deep cleaning, or floor care according to the supervisor's planning.

The work involves performing daily cleaning such as mopping floors, dusting, and cleaning sanitary facilities. Machine scrubbing is also included. The job requires your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks and to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and visitors. We are an early-bird team that starts between 04:30-06:30.

Who Are You?

It is advantageous if you have SRY or equivalent cleaning education and knowledge of machine scrubbing. Experience in hospital cleaning and familiarity with operating a scrubbing machine is also a plus. A driver's license and access to a car are preferred, as you may have multiple work locations during the day and need to travel between them. Travel compensation is provided between work locations.

Proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement as communication with colleagues, staff, and visitors is necessary, as well as performing certain administrative tasks.

Your personality is the most important to us! We value qualities such as responsibility, attention to detail, flexibility, and a good attitude.

Selection for interviews is ongoing, so do not hesitate to apply.
