Summer Job in Cleaning Area 1, Healthcare

Cleaning Area 1
The cleaning units perform cleaning in the Region's facilities, including schools and healthcare.
The area corresponds to just over 40 football fields and is divided into more than 300 different cleaning sites. The units have cleaning assignments from Fårösund in the north to Burgsvik in the south.
Cleaning Area 1 performs daily cleaning within healthcare. We primarily clean at the hospital and Korpen but also have some cleaning around Visby. We clean everything that occurs within healthcare such as outpatient clinics, wards, common areas, and staff facilities.
We are now looking for you who want to work as a summer job in Cleaning Area 1, Healthcare.
Your Tasks
The introduction includes training in cleaning healthcare environments. Your tasks include dusting, mopping floors, cleaning hygiene areas, emptying trash cans, and machine scrubbing. Work hours start from 04:30-06:00. Scheduled work on weekends may occur.
A summer substitute position means working approximately 8-10 weeks starting from week 24 or week 25 and ending in week 33. Some deviations may occur.
Who are you?
You need to be 18 years old and able to read for this position. It is advantageous if you have cleaning education or several years of experience in the cleaning profession. It is also advantageous if you have experience operating various types of cleaning machines. We prefer that you have a driver's license and access to a car as there may be several work locations during the day and you need to move between them; travel compensation is provided between work locations.
Your personality is the most important to us! You are flexible, responsible, meticulous, outgoing, and service-minded. The work requires your ability to plan and prioritize your tasks and to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and visitors.
