Who are we?

Resursskolan is a municipal comprehensive school for students with autism, covering grades 4-9. The school has 24 places and admits new students at the start of each academic year.

The school shares facilities with Borgsmoskolan, which serves grades 7-9, and is beautifully located in Klockaretorpet with a large, lovely outdoor environment that inspires learning and movement. Approximately 6 educators have teaching responsibilities at Resursskolan. Additional teachers share their teaching responsibilities between Resursskolan and Borgsmoskolan.

Your Responsibilities

Together with other educators, you will work in the school during the students' scheduled teaching hours. Depending on your qualifications, you will have teaching responsibility for a practical subject.

The size of the teaching groups varies depending on the students' abilities and ages. In addition to your teaching responsibilities, you will be a supplementary teacher in other subjects, working under the guidance of subject teachers.

Overall, the job means being part of a team where everyone works in a scheduled complementary and supportive manner for the students' learning and achievement in various subjects. Some students in grades 4-6 have time in the leisure home, which means that the teaching includes the activities of the leisure home, where you will be responsible for teaching.

Who are you?

You have an education with a degree as a leisure teacher with qualifications in art, music, or sports. You have experience working as a teacher in leisure homes and schools. You have a well-documented experience of working with students with autism.

Your knowledge of students with autism makes you skilled in engaging with teaching and students, successfully finding pathways to learning and achievement for each student. You have a clear and attentive leadership style with a pronounced ability to create good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians.

You prioritize students, are creative and resourceful, and are motivated by an sometimes unpredictable workday, viewing challenges positively.
