Who are we?
Åbymoskolan is a F-6 school with a leisure center located in Åby, ten kilometers north of Norrköping, close to beautiful nature. The entire unit works together to create a good school and leisure center with high goal fulfillment and a good learning environment.
Our vision words are Joy, Knowledge, Safety, and Responsibility, which permeate our entire operation. We have a well-structured organization with functioning routines that contribute to safety and a conducive study environment. At the school, we have a well-developed recess program where our playground teachers take the lead and create a stimulating break for our students.
In the leisure center's activities, the work is characterized by students' participation and influence, as well as a focus on language and communication. We work according to an annual cycle and collaborate between the different leisure center departments and with the school regarding this.
In grades F-3, where the positions are available, we organize our activities in grade-based teams where primary school teachers and leisure teachers collaborate around the students. During the school day, classes are taught by class or subject teachers who are also mentors. The leisure teachers are involved in the activities and support students and operations at the group or individual level. After school hours, the grade's teachers in the leisure center run the activities through close collaboration.
We are a school with a high qualification rate among our staff, and you will work alongside many competent colleagues. We believe in a school where we work together to ensure that the student's entire day is the best possible!

You are also part of a grade team and collaborate with the teachers in the grade to support students during the school day. An active values-based work permeates the entire day.
You always have a student focus and actively participate in joint planning and collegial learning with your colleagues. You contribute actively to the school's quality and development work.
Who are you?
You are a licensed leisure teacher, and it may be advantageous if you have experience teaching in leisure centers and primary schools. You have knowledge and experience in meeting students based on their diverse needs.
You have a good ability to communicate in spoken and written Swedish.
You listen to the students and create participation in the teaching. You focus on the student's learning and safety, and you value and practice relational leadership. You have good pedagogical insight and understand how students absorb knowledge and grow and develop as individuals.
