About the Operation:

The need for day activities for the elderly has steadily increased here in Vallentuna. Currently, there is a day activity called Östanbo day activity, but in 2026 we will open another day activity for the elderly. Therefore, we need to expand our team with two staff members for our day activities, one permanent position at 75% and a temporary position at 75% until December 31, 2026.

In our day activity, our guests have the opportunity to participate in various joint activities such as chair gymnastics, music sessions, reading, bingo, and other types of games. The activities follow the seasons and the year's holidays. We vary the daily program according to the wishes and interests of our guests. Every day, morning coffee and lunch are served. We will have close cooperation between the two day activities.

With us, you will work in a meaningful operation where community, safety, and activity are at the center. You will be part of a team of colleagues with great commitment to the mission and many years of competence in the area of dementia disease.

Job Responsibilities:

As a nursing assistant in the day activity, your mission is to support and activate the elderly who visit the day activity. You provide care and practical support according to individual needs. You also participate in planning and implementing both social and physical activities with the guests of the day activity and contribute to a safe, pleasant, and stimulating environment. In your work, you have close collaboration with both colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. You establish implementation plans and write social journals continuously. We also work with contact person assignments.

You work weekdays, during the day.

Qualifications:

• Trained nursing assistant
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience in day activities, dementia care, or activity work
• Specialist competence in dementia, for example as a specialist nursing assistant in dementia or Silvia sister
