Healthcare Assistant for the Dermatology Department at Ersta Hospital

About the position

The Nursing Area of Gastro, Dermatology, and Rheumatology provides highly specialized care and research. At the dermatology department, we investigate and diagnose patients with various forms of inflammatory skin diseases, different skin tumors, and treat them. Our team consists of nurses, healthcare assistants, and doctors.

In your role as a healthcare assistant at the dermatology department, you will work independently and focus on patient interaction, manage bookings in TakeCare, and collaborate closely with our doctors, assisting in both surgery and outpatient care. You will work independently and as part of a team in our treatment unit with leg ulcer patients and take care of our light therapy patients. In addition, other common tasks at a clinic such as inventory management and sample collection will be included.

Some weekend work may occur.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Proof of protected professional title for healthcare assistants or an employer certificate confirming that you had a permanent position as a healthcare assistant on July 1, 2023, in accordance with the transitional provisions (2021:739) in the Patient Safety Act (2010:659). If you are applying with an employer certificate, you must attach your diploma from your healthcare assistant exam.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a healthcare assistant in inpatient care.
• Experience in outpatient work.
• Familiarity with the TakeCare journal system.
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious:

• Previous work at a dermatology department.
• Experience in dermatological care.
