Your Assignment

The night patrol performs home care services for clients in their private homes at night from 10:15 PM to 7:30 AM. You will work in a team with colleagues, and it is extremely important to remember that it is the client's wishes and needs that guide your work. The night patrol also responds to incoming alarms from Nacka's clients at night, and you will always work in pairs, which means you will also support your colleague when unforeseen care situations arise. Quick and correct action may be required, so you must be confident in your role and able to remain calm. We are a car-based home care service, and all vehicles are equipped with GPS and depart from Nacka Senior Center Sofiero in Björknäs.

The client's needs are always the starting point for the services, and common tasks include care, supervision, and responding to alarms. Documentation is also an important part of your work. Please read more about our mission here.

We are currently looking for a substitute who can start immediately and take a short-term position from March 2nd to May 24th.

Your Experience

For this position, you must have:

• A valid B driving license and very good driving experience in all road conditions and at night
• Be at least 18 years old
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Experience working night shifts
• Familiarity with documentation and computers

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience working in home care or elderly care
• Completed or ongoing education in health and care

Is this you?

We prefer candidates who have education or are studying in health and care or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have practical experience in health and care work, understand and work according to the national value base of elderly care. It is an advantage if you have experience working with clients in private homes and can handle various technical aids. You prioritize the client's well-being and needs, maintain a calm and friendly demeanor towards everyone you meet, and think service in all situations. It is essential that you have professional pride and want to deliver quality to both clients and colleagues.

As a summer substitute in the night and alarm patrol, you will be employed by the Competence Supply Staff, which is responsible for coordinating and ensuring the quality of staffing for care personnel during short-term absences and monthly substitutes.
