Nynäshamnsgeriatriken is a small and well-functioning geriatric inpatient department in Nynäshamn with 22 beds. Here, a close-knit team consisting of nurses, assistant nurses, doctors, a social worker, a physiotherapist, and an occupational therapist works together. Many team members have been here for a long time, creating security, continuity, and a strong team spirit.

We provide geriatric care for patients from all over Stockholm County. The operation is dynamic with direct admissions around the clock from acute hospitals, ambulances, health centers, and sometimes directly from home. The workplace is centrally located in Nynäshamn, within walking distance of the commuter train station and with good parking options, including free parking nearby.

Your role includes responsibility for supervising the junior doctors you work with. You will be part of a team of specialist doctors where you support and help each other in daily work. Collaboration and knowledge exchange occur continuously with Capio Geriatrik Handen and other geriatric clinics within Capio. On-call work is included in the position in collaboration with Capio Geriatrik Handen, and on-call compensatory leave is taken regularly to create good conditions for recovery.

Documentation is done in the TakeCare journal system.
